Looking back at 2023; Our industry continues to be impacted by the speed of technology, faster more secure credit card transactions, improved yet more complicated Point of Sale options, and continued leveraged buyouts and acquisitions. All these industry-wide changes resulted in our recommendation to many of you, our valued Merchants, to move your Merchant Account to Agile Financial Systems (AFS). We appreciate AFS’s desire to work closely with each of you, and with us, to make this transition as smooth as possible. With lower processing rates and fees, all backed with even more improved Tech Support, we welcome this partnership. We thank you all for collaborating with us in this regard.

To reduce your monthly processing costs, we want to encourage each of you as business owners to make sure your Merchant Account is in full PCI, Payment Card Industry – Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) Compliance. You remain in PCI Compliance by completing an annual online survey to ensure you and your processing devices are up-to-date and are producing secure credit card transactions from your device to and from the MasterCard/Visa/Discover/AMEX and Banking Server Networking Systems. No matter who you process with, you must remain in PCI Compliance. This PCI Compliance requirement protects all of us from credit card fraud best possible. Credit Card Fraud hurts all of us as it increases the bottom-line of every credit card transaction around the world. This past year businesses successfully conducted over 5 trillion credit card transactions. PCI Compliance applies to both swiped (In person Face-to-Face transactions) and keyed (Internet, Website, Computer) transactions. Many of you are being charged a monthly Non-Compliance PCI Fee for not being in full compliance each month. Check your monthly Merchant Statements, if you see any “Non-Compliance Fee” please call our office 860-774-8210 and ask for help in completing your online PCI Survey, thus reducing and or eliminating this extra charge to your account.
